After discussion with woodpecker-ci devs on the chat:

The woodpecker-cli tool is known to have issues on current version v0.15.X. But it's also uncertain to run the next version to lint the pipeline, since they can introduce changes.

I'll keep the step commented out waiting for the version v1.0. Anyway, it was fun to explore this.
