variables are declared in header files and included in multiple places.

They currently fit the general concept of a `request::` in the sense
that they are not property related and have "request handlers".
The commit also add deprecation for signals.
The reason for this fits within the larger standardization project.
Non-namespaced signals will eventually be renamed. This has started
a long time ago.
What is old is new again. Once upon a time, there was a `startup`
parameter to the `manage` signal. It is now back in the form of
a context.
Finally, this commit removes the `manage` section of `rc.lua`. It no
longer did anything worthy of being in the config. Each of its
important parts have been moved out over the years and the last
remaining bit is always required anyway. The code has been moved
to `client.lua`.
This commit add an optional `--screen off` command to initialize Lua
without first adding the screens. This is inconvinient for most users
since it restrict the APIs that are usable out of the box.
However, this allows AwesomeWM to work independently from the hardware.
This means that when a screen is unplugged, it is the Lua code that will
remove the screen instead of CAPI pulling the carpet from under. It also
allows to ignore some screen areas before the screen is ever created.
Combined, it makes it possible to work with screens even when they are
physically disconnected. Finally, it will allow for an awful.rules like
API to control how screens are created.
All in all, some people need this for their setup and some people might
want to do it anyway for fine grained and/or dynamaic multi-screen
setups.
This commit also adds 4 new signals to `capi` to be able to
execute code at specific points during the initialization. The commit
improves naughty error notifications to work even if problems occurs
before the screens are added.
Note that AwesomeWM will exit if no screens are created. While it would
be easy to just call `refresh_screen();` after unsetting the magic
variable, doing so would have corner cases. Better be harsher and
prevent the user from shooting themselves in the foot from not reading
the f****** manual. Code introduced in future commits will take care
of automatically calling fake_screen in the event nothing is created.

This makes motif wm hints available on clients as c.motif_wm_hints.
Actually interpreting all the values is up to Lua. The definition of the
necessary properties is taken from motif.

Before this commit, do this:
c.maximize_hoizontal = true
c.maximize = true
c.maximize = false
assert(c.maximize_hoizontal)
Would not work because the states were not preserved individually.
This commit fixes that. Awesome wont be confused about it's own
state anymore.
This may seem pointless, but when it come to undoing these
maximizations, it was ambiguous.
This should "protect" the user from some stupidities that Lua code might be
doing that e.g. makes a client jump to another position and then immediately
back to where it was before. Only the last change in a single main loop
iteration will actually have any effect.

EWMH specifies that
If _NET_WM_WINDOW_TYPE is not set, then managed windows with WM_TRANSIENT_FOR
set MUST be taken as [_NET_WM_WINDOW_TYPE_DIALOG].
We implement this by forcing a window's type to be "dialog" when it has a
WM_TRANSIENT_FOR property. For windows that have a _NET_WM_WINDOW_TYPE property,
this type change is then later undone. However, when a window changes its
WM_TRANSIENT_FOR property during runtime, then we would set its type to "dialog"
unconditionally.
This commit fixes this by explicitly tracking if we found a _NET_WM_WINDOW_TYPE
property on the window and only applying the fallback if we did not find such a
property.

Instead of focusing the root window, we now create a "focus window" inside of
our frame window. This window is placed so that it is not visible, but we can
grab key bindings on it to simulate the window having the input focus.

When we manage the transient before the main window, the client object's
.transient_for property would stay nil. This happens because the property points
to a window which we don't know (yet) and thus is ignored.
Fix this by remembering the value of WM_TRANSIENT_FOR and checking in
client_manage() if the new client is the "missing window we did not find
before".

This allow layout "arrange" to be called less often and react on
the cause of the change itself rather than it's consequences
(usually, the "focus" signal).
Previously, the layout were re-arranged everytime the focus changed.
Now, with "raised" and "lowered", it require less "arrange".
"swapped" allow smarted layouts. Currently, swapped cause a full
re-arrange. It re-read the "index" list from scratch and create
a "new" layout. With "swapped", incremental layout changes are
possible.

Fun fact: ICCCM specifies that icon_pixmap must have depth 1. Xterm uses a
pixmap with depth 24. Yay... As such, I don't have any test for the depth == 1
case and will just assume that it does the right thing. If it doesn't, I bet no
one will notice anyway.

Previously, ownership of the pixmaps that we are using for double buffering was
a little weird. The pixmap belonged to the drawin/titlebar, but the
corresponding cairo surface was owned by the drawable. Clean this up by moving
the pixmap to the drawable.
This cleans up lots of ugly code and also fixes a crash: When a drawable was
garbage collected before its drawin, drawin_wipe() would crash accessing the
drawable. This was needed to make it forget about the cairo surface we gave to
it for the pixmap that is being destroyed.
By moving the pixmap to the drawable, this whole issues goes away.

Whenever a titlebar of a client needed to be refreshed, all (possibly) four
titlebars would get completely refreshed. So if someone actually added more than
one titlebar to a client, awesome would copy each titlebar's content to the
window four times. Fix this by introducing more fine-grined functions for
uploads.
This also makes awesome only update the affected area when it gets an expose
event for a titlebar instead of all four titlebars completely.

the client show up ("manage").
This commit add:
* "startup_id" property for all clients object (immutable, can be nil)
* Second return value to awful.util.spawn() with the startup_id
* Update the documentation

local pid,snid = awful.util.spawn("urxvtc")
wait_for_it[snid] = {ontop=true,sticky=false,
tag = awful.tag.gettags(mouse.screen)[1] }

if c.startup_id and wait_for_it[c.startup_id] then
for k,v in pairs(wait_for_it[c.startup_id]) do
c[k] = v
end
if wait_for_it[c.startup_id].tag then

The code was sending out ConfigureNotify events which contained the size of the
frame window. Thus, the client assumed that it is was larger than it actually
was.

This commit makes it possible to add titlebars to a client. These titlebars are
drawables.
The drawin's input handling is moved to the drawable. This allows it to use the
same code for drawin and titlebar input handling, although there are lots of
differences between the two on the C side.
On the lua side, a new wibox.drawable module is created which handles all the
drawable-specific magic and which can also be used for titlebars.

Now that the C code uses lightuserdata for passing around cairo surfaces, they
are no longer automatically garbage collected. To avoid memleaks, this commit
compares the C code to use cairo_surface_t pointers instead of the lua stack.
This also fixes a memleak were a client's icon was leaked.

There isn't much point in the screen property of a drawin because the geometry
already defines on which screen the drawin is.
The biggest chunk of changes from this is due to removing the functions
drawin_detach and drawin_attach which where called when the screen property was
set/unset.
The code from drawin_detach is moved into drawin_set_visible and drawin_wipe.
drawin_attach is moved into drawin_init.

Each window is now reparented under a window created by awesome. This window is
NOT visible, this commit should not cause any visible differences. Instead, this
